About the event
This program is designed to teach you basic kayaking skills and build confidence on the
lake before launching into the Cape Fear River from Riverlights. Tides, currents, and wind are all
factors to consider before planning your river kayaking excursion. We will cover this and more, setting you up for a joyous, guided adventure to find shark teeth on a nearby island
in the Cape Fear River! We will reschedule the shark tooth hunting adventure if weather conditions are not ideal.
Price: $125/person
Age: 10 years and up
Duration: Total 4.5 hours
When: April 6 (Presentation and basic skills 9:30am - 11:00am) ( Shark Tooth Hunting Adventure 12:30pm - 3pm)
Locations: Riverlights Lakehouse (4124 Watercraft Ferry Ave, Wilmington) and lake for Presentaion and skills. Behind Smoke on the Water (3704 Watercraft Ferry Ave.) for shark tooth hunting adventure.
