This 2-day program is designed to teach you basic kayaking skills and build confidence on Day 1 before launching for a shark tooth hunting adventure on the Cape Fear River on Day 2! This is not an overnight event. 4.5 hours total

About the event
This 2-day program is designed to teach you basic kayaking skills and build confidence on the
lake before launching into the Cape Fear River from Riverlights. Tides, currents, and wind are all
factors to consider before planning your river kayaking excursion. We will cover this and more
on Day 1, setting you up for a joyous, guided adventure to find shark teeth on a nearby island
in the Cape Fear River on Day 2! We will reschedule Day 2 if weather conditions are not ideal.
Price: $125/person
Age: 10 years and up
Duration: Total 4.5 hours
When: Friday, April 26 (5:30pm - 7:30pm) & Saturday, April 27 (8am - 10:30am)
Locations: Riverlights Lakehouse (4124 Watercraft Ferry Ave, Wilmington) and lake on Day 1. Behind Smoke on the Water (3704 Watercraft Ferry Ave.) on Day 2.
