Experience an eco-tour of Barnard's Creek and part of the Cape Fear River before landing on an island to search for shark teeth! Our tour is scheduled with the tides to ensure the current is on our side. The adventure includes kayaks, life jackets, paddles, and a knowledgeable guide.

About the event
Embark on an unforgettable adventure that's more than just shark tooth hunting! This 3.5-hour tour features a kayaking eco-tour through Barnards Creek and a safe portion of the Cape Fear River. Along the way, you'll encounter local wildlife such as Yellow-crowned Night Herons, Anhingas, White Ibis, and Red-winged Black Birds. Spend approximately 1.5 hours on an island abundant with shark teeth and fossils, ready for you to discover and collect!
Our journey begins in the Riverlights community, where you'll hop into our passenger van, Sunshine, for a quick shuttle to our launch point. We'll conclude the tour back in Riverlights.
