Women's Empowerment Kayaking Retreat (with Jen Carter)

Connect with yourself, nature, and other incredible women through this 2-day retreat co-led by an Integrative Health Coach specialized in personal growth and the owner of Wilmington Outdoor Adventures. 

Day 1: Presentation and Workshop (6:30pm - 8pm) Meet at Elevate Co-Working, a coworking community designed for Female Entrepreneurs in Wilmington, NC, for a 1.5 presentation led by Jennifer Carter. Jen came to coaching on a journey of self-exploration, training at Duke Integrative Medicine as a Certified Integrative Health Coach and in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, following her career as a pediatric physical therapist.  Jen specializes in helping women break free of the habits, thoughts, and repetitive patterns that are preventing them from fully enjoying the life they live and the people they love. She also enjoys cartwheels on the beach, authentic converationss, and sunshine.

Day 2: Masonboro Island Kayak Adventure (8am - 1pm) Meet at Trails End Park on Wilmington's Intracoastal Waterway, where WOA owner, Kay Lynn Hernandez will provide you with basic kayak instruction before launching on your guided tour to Masonboro Island. Jen and Kay Lynn will lead wellness activities that combine reflection, communication, planning, teamwork, trust, decision making, problem solving and relaxation to build confidence on this pristine, barrier island preserve.

Cost is $150 per person. Space is limited to 8 women.

This is not an overnight retreat.
