Just like children sleepin' We could dream this night away

But there's a full moon risin' Let's go (paddling) in the light

Come with WOA on this celebration of the first full moon of Autumn 2023.  The Harvest Moon on 2023 is an embodiment of second chances. We will take a break from paddling to appreciate the moonrise, which would be the perfect time to think about how you may want to begin on a new slate, or to simply gaze at the full Moon occuring nearest to the equinox.

What? This guided tour includes lessons of Greenfield Lake history, wildlife and more as well as a sunset and a moonrise all packed into an exciting 1.5 hour adventure.

Where? Greenfield Lake Boat launch (Use 1803 Carolina Beach Rd. Wilmington, NC)

When? September 29, 2023. Meet no later than 6:15pm. Finished by 8pm

Who? Up to 10 people. Ages 8 and up.

Cost is $55 per person.
