A Speed Dating Adventure by Wilmington Outdoor Adventures

Leave the dating apps behind, and join fellow singles for a kayak adventure to Masonboro Island. On this protected barrier island, you'll participate in a series of guided, relaxed, face-to-face conversations and fun challenges in one of the most beautiful natural settings on the North Carolina coast. Leave the gear at home — we’ve got the equipment covered, so you can focus on making a great connection!

Date: Saturday, September 19

Launch Times: 12:30 PM & 1:30 PM (We will have two separate age groups launching)

Event Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours

To create the best possible experience, participation begins with this registration application and refundable deposit. We will thoughtfully curate balanced groups based on age ranges and overall participation. If invited to participate: Complete your registration for a total event cost of $125.

Just 14 participants per event. Every participant will have the opportunity to meet all seven potential matches while sharing an unforgettable adventure on Masonboro Island.

Timeline:

August 2 - Applications open

September 2 - Applications close (11:59 PM)

September 6 - Invitations sent to selected participants

September 10 - Final registration payment due

September 11–13 - Invitations to people from the waitlist if needed

September 15 - Participants/Adventure Connections receive email with all the final event details!

September 19 - Event day!
